photo of the day – Valencia Island

Our photo of the day a shot of Valencia Island Co Kerry, Ireland was taken by Colin using a Canon 20D with a 24-105mm L lens.

Colin has beautifully  captured the dramatic scenery of Ireland with meticulousness thought for composition. I like the way the foreground detail frames the picture and on the left side the mountain with swirling clouds leads your eye back into the scene. The distant island and open sea leave you wondering what else is there to explore? Maybe you will just have to visit Ireland to find out.
