After my last posting (thanks Neal, but the others ??) I decided to buy. Yes it's a great printer, but what about the software. Image Zone has been a headache, and although my Ethernet link is fine, the presence of the HP software has created many a problem with the Router loosing Internet link (3 times) HP email totally fail, and my HP5550 printing (on wireless using 2 PC's) was really knocked sideways once or twice. HP help and chats have been useless, and I will now attempt a third install without the IMAGE ZONE stuff etc.
Surprisingly all Google searches bring out a heap of comments on the 8750, but never about the software - one guy on Amazon did report that the software was lousy and that it took over the machine - I agree.
I'm sure it's not all that bad, but I have failed to master it as yet. Did anyone else find anything to annoy them about the (admittedly) additional software. Would be glad to hear your views
Thanks Myrddin Jones
