11 x 17 Brochure problems on HP 8750

Hi,

I'm new to the forum and could not find a previous thread that may discuss this, but I am having problems. With either Adobe or Powerpoint I can print a file on 8 1/2 x 11 and the formatting is fine on my HP 7410 All In One Printer. When I select my HP 8750 with 11 x 17 paper loaded, pick that paper souorce (Tabloid 11x17) with two (2) pages per sheet I get the format reduced to approx 60% of the normal size for two pages on the printout. I cannot figure out why the two pages are reduced in size.

Any ideas - Anyone printing four page brochures on 11x17 stock?

sounds like it's somewhere in your margin settings - most apps (if not all) get teh paper dimensions from the printer driver usually this is a printable area and the whole paper size. If you then tell the app to resize in any way, it does it within these constraints. Could be that the app is adding margins. Couls also be that the app needs to resize this way to maintain the page format. You need to check it through, starting with the printer settings for that paper size.
