HP Photosmart B8350 Printer.

Postby Gruntt » Fri Dec 15, 2006 7:41 pm

Hi all

I'm a newbie to this forum looking for advice.

I'm getting a HP b8350 for Xmas & need some help choosing paper & settings for this printer. I've done lots of internet searchers for info but all I'm finding is HP blurb.

I'm sure there must be somone out there with practical hands on knowledge of this printer.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

HP B8350 is Vivera dye (rather than the Vivera pigment of the B9180). That means that you have a choice of basically any inkjet paper, though longevity will probably be best on swellable media such as HP Premium Plus.

Thanks for the reply,

I have used the HP Premium Plus in the past with my Photosmart 7150 and was not impressed with the drying time involved (seemed to take forever) even after a week a sweaty thumb would lift ink off the paper, I'm now using Fufi Multijet Premium which does a far better job.

I didn't realise though that the Vivera came in two different flavours.

Thanks
