Probably not - unless you own Flickr or SmugMug. If you own Flickr, you are Yahoo and may chose to fight it. Same with Picassa, owned by Google who have pockets much deeper than Kodak. If you are a small time owner, you will negotiate a license, and raise rates to your advertisers.

If you are a photographer with photos on the site, you will probably see no difference. In Silicon Valley, this is routine. Hi-tech companies have dozens of suits in progress at any given time. Some companies have been formed for no other reason but to buy blocks of patents in hopes of finding violators they can sue. Silicon Valley lawyers drive Bugatti Veyrons as a consequence, and live in 35,000 sq. ft. houses with hot and cold running servants.

Farther south in California it is not so good. In Malibu and Beverley Hills poor parents are now being forced to lay off their nannies and learn their children's names. A sad time indeed.
