kodak has noritsu-printers which can handle perforated 35mm film and take up to 72mm in one piece. 30x91cm prints(matte and glossy) are very cheap. 15-19 chf depending how many from the same.

a german guy offers a rollfilm-solution for some coolscans but: it cannot handle panoramic sizes. wait for new epson v700/v750(wet mounting version) and hope the results are good enough. i guess one could get very sharp results up to 15x. with 4990 i can enlarge 12x with grain suppressed(unsharp) but my razorsharp panorama(part of a long stripe) looks very good. 2450-scans are not sharp at all. forget that scanner. i will use julio fernandez scanmax-wetmounting-holder(we will develop different panoramic masks). this will provide less grain and perfect colors and constrast. he(a chemist) has developped a new liquid. go to his yahoo-list at:
