Just to add, there's no focus adjsutment on this scanner.

One thing that makes a big difference is how flat the film is in the mounts. Mine's typically curved a lot. Removing film from card mounts (especially Kodachrome) is not something I'd want to do a lot of.

Thanks for your reply. Curve film in mounts is a possibility with all my chromes. I too do not want to remove film from Kodachrome slide mounts.
