R2400 waste ink pad reset - SSC?

I have an R2400 and I got the usual message concerning "Parts that are near the end of their life" (in other words "the ink pad needs changing)
I used the SSC Service utility to re-set the counters and it worked fine.
Please note that it is only advisable to do this once and you will need to change the pad on the second warning. If you need to change the pad e-mail me through my website ddimages.co.uk and I can put you intouch with where to get replacement pads and even a video to show you how to do it.
