This is an interesting question, and I hope somebody here is able to answer it. Having never really followed the HP line, I wouldn't know.

Hi Sunchanger,
If your B9180 is still working, lucky you! Dont buy HP carts.
Refillable ones are available on ebay from best-bet4us at about £35 per set.
Ink can be had from inkjet revolution by the bottle. They no longer list it as available for the B9180 but apparently it is the same ink as used in some other HP printer. Talk to them. The bottles come in various sizes. I have used it and it is good.

Where can I get my B9180 repaired or exchanged for a refurbished one?
It has a couple of minor faults and one "Stop it Dead" one.

I said dont buy HP carts because they are expencive.
Once you have bought, them refillable ones can be refilled for about a third of the cost, and it only takes a few minutes.

Just be careful you don't introduce air bubbles into the mixture, these are the cause of most print head blockages.
