District calibration

Postby David » Fri Dec 01, 2006 10:13 pm

I want to calibrate a friend's laptop screen with my Gretag eye-one.
Am I correct in thinking that I will have to load the Gretag software into the laptop ( I think the answer is an obvious yes).
Would there be any issues if I went round the district doing this and would I have to uninstall the software every time, and in doing so, would it negate the calibration?

I have not put that very succintly :? .

I'm not sure but I think the answer to this can vary from one colorimetr to another. You'll definitely need to load the software and I would think should get the answer on the Conditions of Use screen when you do so.

Pleae forgive this rather offensive reply, but it have the same situationist going.

I have photos that have worded long and hard on that I to share with folks ho refuse to calibrate their monitors. I work hard on my images, and simply won't send images to those folks anymore.

Just my 2 cents. Sorry, I don't mean to sound crass.
