I'll assume that you did not flush your system/lines prior to switching to the JETTEC carts. This is a wild guess, but perhaps you have a mix of geniune Epson and JETTEC inks that is creating havoc. I'm hesitant to suggest this because a) it will use ink and b) It might not work, but perhaps a cleaning cycle or 2 (or more) with idea to flush out remaining genuine Epson ink?
That said, I have no experience with JETTEC or any other 3rd party inks other that what I have read, so please take the above with the proverbial grain of salt. There is a lot of information here regarding pros and cons of third party inks if you care to do a bit of searching. I think it would be fair to say that the prevailing opinion, at least here, is that use of 3rd party inks is not, generally, worth the dollars or pounds or yen or whatever saved. And that said, there will be those who will have had positive experiences and disagree with what I just said.
At any rate, no need to beat yourself up for giving it a go. Maybe the Jettec inkset will work just fine for you once you get this sorted out.
Cheers,
