Generally I make a rule of not using third party inks, my view has always been that the manufacturers inks are formulated to produce the best results with their printers, print heads, profiles and media, so why bring in another permutation?. Well, when a industry leading company such as Pantone produce anything to do with colour, then that inspires confidence before you open the box.
