Epson launch free personalised print sample service

Photographers can see the quality of the Epson Stylus Pro 4000 by sending a digital image of their choice to the Epson Print Centre.

October 2004 - Photographers can now see their own digital image produced on an A2, Epson Stylus Pro 4000, for free.  Due to the interest in the Stylus Pro 4000 and the number of enquiries from photographers wishing to receive print samples, Epson has gone the extra mile and set up a free print sample service for photographers.

Simply send a digital image from your personal collection to Epson and you will receive a print from the Stylus Pro 4000. Stock images will not be used, instead Epson will use your own photo. To register, interested Photographers should visit www.epson.co.uk/4000sample.

Photographers can choose to have their images printed to A4, A3 or A2 size.  Epson are also offering a choice of media options, from glossy to matte and fine art finishes.

Martin Johns, Product Manager, Graphics Products says, “The service is an ideal opportunity for photographers to see the quality of output that can be achieved on the Stylus Pro 4000.  We will use the standard drivers and profiles that all customers will receive with the printer, ensuring we provide a genuine and personal print sample, that accurately demonstrates the high-quality output abilities of the Stylus Pro 4000.”

“Photographers can also take advantage of the opportunity to experiment with a new type of media that they may not have tried before.”

The EPSON Stylus PRO 4000 is designed to produce the highest quality output for everything from exhibition graphics, POS displays, fine art, photographs and printing proofs, without compromising on speed or reliability. It features an eight-colour ink system, has a print resolution of 2880 x 1440 dpi, high-speed productivity, A2 format capability and offers users unrivalled cost efficiency.
