SPYDER 3 Review

I have been using the Spyder 3 for about a month and it has delivered very high quality results, the colours on my screen are vibrant yet faithful to the originals. I like the speed increase in both creating a profile and re-calibrating, this should encourage users to check their system more often. The review sample I was supplied with didn't have a user guide, so this review has been based on using the Spyder without any instructional references. To datacolor's credit, the Spyder 3 was easy to set up and use, although I would have liked more information on the ambient light reading feature, from what I can make out it will warn you if the ambient light value changes dramatically. From here on I am not sure what the Spyder does, as my monitor didn't seem to compensate for any changes in light. I will investigate further and add to this written section as soon as I get my hands on a User Guide
