Installation

I am not going to spend much time on Installing the drivers as this is a fully automated process. If you can put a CD in a computer then you won't have any problem installing the drivers. You are given the option for Easy or Custom install. The Easy install will put all the software on your system, on the Custom install you can choose which elements you want. I have selected the Easy install option which loads everything.

Close all applications and disable your anti-virus software before installing the drivers and software, then just follow the on screen instructions

Select Easy or Custom Install	On custom install you can select the bits you want

Insert USB cable when asked	Your done - Congratulations!

A shortcut link to the User's Guide is placed on your Desktop, for quick and easy access, you can of course delete the shortcut and access the guide through the usual Start > All Programs method. The guide is in the form of an HTML document with plenty of useful information and tips etc. There is also a Search facility. The guide was very easy to use, although one annoying problem which I encountered was through clicking on the Home button in Internet explorer - which of course takes me to my own Home page, whereas the Home button for the User Guide is at the top of each page.

All in all the guide is very clear and easy to use, a vast improvement on the PDF guide for the Pro 3800.

An excellent user guide in the form of a HTML document

Just in case any of you are wondering how does my system cope with all the review software I load each week - well it doesn't I have had more than my fair share of computer problems this year. A real life saver has been Acronis True Image 10, this software restores a disk to the state it was in before loading new software.
