Compared to...

Before we compare the Epson Stylus with other printers, here is the result of selecting "Let Photoshop Determine Colours". This print almost matches the original file in colour, it is very good, but it has also taken me seven prints to get here. However, once you find a satisfactory setting then you will probably use that for all your printing.

Print using the Epson SP1400 1410 PGPP profile

The cotton reels have rendered excellent colours accross the entire rangs, I thought the blues and green reel were exceptionally good. The Brown reel displays a good solid colour and on the original print I can clearly see every strand on the Black reel. The Red reels are perhaps a little oversaturated, but still very acceptable. The Yellow is without doubt one of the best I have seen on any printer - full marks to Epson Claria inks.
