Each printer has been covered in depth in our interactive reviews, but often when I look at printers side by side I get a different view of things. So here are just a few brief comments. I will cover any issues in more detail when I start printing with the printers.
The Epson R2400 is perhaps the most delicate of the three printers, I get a distinct feeling that this printer has been produced for a home user rather than a busy pro studio. Epson have designed a printer that is pleasing to look at, but I suspect that this printer will not fare well under heavy use. |

The HP B9180 is built like a tank, this printer is seriously heavy duty. It will suit a busy studio and should withstand a lot of hard use. The home user may have to convince their partner that the printer will fit in with their home decor. |

The Canon 9500 is the new kid on the block, it's a good looking printer that will suit both the home and studio user. The overall quality of construction and components are first class, the design is functional with plenty of extras such as CD printing and PictBridge (would anyone use this on an A3+ printer?) |
