Carol-Cat

A  shot by photo-i reader Carol King. Carol was doing some gardening when her cat popped her head over the fence, with a swift action Carol captured this lovely photo. It pays to keep you camera handy at all times. Shot with a Canon G10 on fully Auto (yes Auto can work well for quick grab shots)

John Davies sculptor

A shot from a heads series that I worked on in the early 1970’s. This is a set of sculptures by John Davies. Shot at the White Chapel Art gallery using a Nikon F2 with 105mm Nikkor lens. HP4. I liked the relationship between each head. The negative was scanned in using LaserSoft Imaging SilverFast Ai Studio 8 software with an Epson V750 scanner.

Vancouver

Photograph taken in Vancouver using a Nikon F with 20mm Nikkor lens. The Exktachrome slide was scanned in using an Epson V750 scanner with LaserSoft Imaging SilverFast Ai Studio 8 software. This software is probably the best scanning application available. I will publish a full review of it here on photo-i shortly.
