Dartmoor Tor

I used the latest version of On1 Photo Raw 2018 (12.5.3) to convert this photograph of a Dartmoor Tor to B/W and applied a Sloppy Border 6 to the picture. Then exported the image as a 2000 x 1746 pixel file (from 5184 x 3888). On1 Photo Raw software has many interesting filters and effects, for the most part the application is easy to use, although I did have a lot of trouble resizing the image and exporting it in the new size. I will return to this application and look at it in greater detail. Photoshop may still hold the top slot as far as image editing goes, but don't dismiss some of the other applications such as PaintShop Pro, On1 Photo Raw, Affinity Photo, DxO PhotoLab, Aurora HDR etc.

Had a go a Focus bracketing yesterday. The second shot is a combination of 12 frames stacked in Photoshop to produce a shot that is sharp from front to back. Both photos were shot at f2.8 using a Panasonic GH5 with 12-60mm Leica/Lumix lens. I will put together a video tutorial showing you how to do this with a more inspiring shot.
