Nikon have today made public their new range of mirrorless cameras the Z6 & Z7 with an initial three lenses. We will bring you a full hands on review as and when the camera becomes available.

Nikon introduces the new Z mount system cameras, the Z 7 and Z 6
Nikon has today made a number of exciting announcements including details of its entry into the full-frame mirrorless segment with the launch of its Z mount system.
The Z mount system comprises of two Nikon FX format mirrorless cameras, the Z 7 and Z 6, with a larger-diameter mount. You can read more about the system and bodies in the attached press release.
Nikon has also announced three new lenses compatible with its Z mount system’s full-frame (Nikon FX format) mirrorless cameras – the standard zoom NIKKOR Z 24-70mm f/4 S, the wide-angle prime NIKKOR Z 35mm f/1.8 S, and the standard prime NIKKOR Z 50mm f/1.8 S – as well as the new Mount Adapter FTZ, which enables approximately 360 existing F mount lenses to be used with the new system.

Furthermore, Nikon is developing the new NIKKOR Z 58mm f/0.95 S Noct lens. Details of the new lenses and upcoming roadmap can be found in the attached press release.
Finally, Nikon has released the AF-S NIKKOR 500mm f/5.6E PF ED VR – a super-telephoto lens compatible with Nikon FX-format digital SLR cameras. Further details can be found in the press release attached. It will be available from 13th September
